The hunts are exclusive and private.
Exclusive means no other person or party hunts on the same days as your group.
Private means you decide how many, up to 9, and who you want in your group before booking reservations are made. |

Dave is your guide. He will not carry a gun but will give as much recommendation as the group requests. His experience with guiding hunters and understanding the bird's reactions is invaluable.
Dave grew up on the ranch. He started learning about pheasant hunting in early childhood as his father guided business associates and friends in pheasant hunting on the ranch. |
| David's father (post humus) received the 1994 Hall of Fame Land Owner of the Year Award for his contributions to The Dakota Sportsman for his continual preservation of wildlife habitat and establishment of life long friendships. |

Following his father's footsteps, Dave planted a new tree shelter belt every few years. He established CRP type grass nesting fields, continues to create food plots and provide winter feed to enhance hen survival. These efforts have been very successful. It is common to see several hundred birds daily. Many times hunters have their limit by noon. |
| Dave takes pride in knowing the history of the area and is willing to show archeological sights of pre-settler Indian camps, early homestead and school house sights, Custer's Hiddenwood camp on his way to the Black Hills and one of the Indian camp sights of the last great Buffalo Hunt. |
